This bright single room in a shared apartment on the second floor offers a comfortable space for studying and relaxing. It has a single bed, a desk with an ergonomic chair, and a mirrored double wardrobe. Neutral walls, wood-effect flooring, and framed artwork create a calm atmosphere.  

The shared living area includes a cozy armchair, a piano, and a bookshelf, leading to a balcony with open views of greenery and a canal. The well-organized kitchen has ample counter space, sleek cabinetry, and a built-in oven, while the dining area is perfect for meals and study sessions. The apartment also has a compact toilet and a bright shower area for daily comfort.

Calandkade is situated in Laakhaven West, a lively and creative neighborhood just outside of the city center. The area offers a great mix of convenience and accessibility, making it ideal for students and young professionals. Key nearby locations include: 

• Supermarket (Albert Heijn or Jumbo): 6 minutes by bike

The hospita is working as a senior researcher in wind energy. He leads a quiet and mindful lifestyle, with a strong focus on sustainability and vegetarian living. His wide-ranging interests include music, philosophy, scientific programming, climate activism, and cycling—creating an enriching and well-rounded home environment. The apartment is peaceful and well-maintained, ideally suited for someone who values calm, cleanliness, and mutual respect.

While he appreciates occasional shared moments, such as a meal or light conversation, the hospita also fully respects personal space and privacy. To ensure a harmonious living experience, a few clear house rules are in place: quiet hours from midnight to 08:30, cleaning the kitchen after each use, and alternating bi-weekly cleaning duties between host and tenant. Communication is welcomed in English, German, Dutch, and possibly even French.
